Our story
A family tradition in loss assessment
It's over 100 years since the Castleton family first entered the complex and specialised world of loss assessment. It was at the family's instigation that the Institute of Public Loss Assessors was established, and Nic Castleton's grandfather was chosen as its president.
Nic founded Independent Claims Consultants three decades ago. Since then, the firm has helped individuals and businesses recover from a wide range of disasters, with every client assigned a dedicated loss assessor.
Today we bring that experience to every claim we manage, working with insurers and their loss adjusters to get our clients the best possible settlement.
Since establishing Independent Claims Consultants three decades ago, I have never lost sight of the long running tradition of customer care and personal service which is the hallmark of my family's long history in loss assessment.
